no need to go anywhere
we are the destination
Just the awakening needed here.

To awaken the soul one needs to become oneself. To come home
there is no need to go anywhere. No need to achieve anything for enlightenment.
In fact if something is to be done it is the unlearning.
To leave whatever has been picked up till date.
No need to carry the load of experiences of  life.
The moment the loads are dropped the awakening happens.
Realization happens that i am already at home.

Experience is nothing but Expanding one's life

What is an Experience?
Yesterday 'Auli' explained that very nicely while sharing her experience.

Experience is not achieving anything in this world or getting anything (including happiness).
It is the learning we derive from the events taking place in our lives. Most of the times we are so lost in generating material happiness through myriad means that we miss out on the real happiness which is through expanding our lives. We have to expand our lives through the infinite events taking place in the environment involving us. It so happens that only a major event in our life gives a jerk and makes us realise, giving us the experience. If we are awake (in real sense), each moment is an experience. Each moment adds something to our life, if  only we are there to grasp and take it with us. When we can do that then the happiness and the sorrow are not two different things. These are only the experiences giving something meaningful to the life thus allowing us to expand our life. Let us resolve today to take every moment as an experience and allow that experience to expand our life. In this way each moment will be giving us a life force which is unimaginable.
 A yogi keeps gaining this life force every moment and hence the radiance on his face and the youthfulness and elegance in his personality.

Revisiting my blog

When I myself revisit the Blog and go through the writings i have poured in the past it really gives me a feeling that we do keep on learning new things through our understanding of the different circumstances we pass through. When i read these writings again i really feel enlightened by the depth of the feelings these writings convey and marvel at the understanding of the person writing them. These seem to have originated from someone who is not me.

This suggests that i and he are two entities. The one whom i consider myself and the other one who is so much knowledgeable, understanding the life so minutely. i think the search of the soul is the search of that one only. The realisation of the fact that i am not the one whom i consider myself but i am the one who keeps on appearing from time to time but goes away as i refuse to identify with him.

The day i connect with him and keep myself as the one rejecting the self i have associated myself all the time till date i think i am enlightened.

Awaiting that day to come for me and for all.

Oh Dear Me!

Oh Dear Me
Where did I leave thou?

Getting past my school exams
in pursuit of higher marks
never realised when and how
I lost 'me' somehow.

Further in the career building race
so engrossed extracting more from the day
I did not stop to know the self
allowing 'me' to go further away.

In the process of fulfilling desires
which I considered purpose of my life
there appeared absolutely no chance
'me' to get even a glance.

As age and fatigue took a toll
the emptiness of life as a whole
started developing guilt and fear
the darkness started whispering in the ear
thou have left 'me' somewhere.

Now when there seems no light anywhere
how can I chance upon 'me' out there
who will illuminate the secret eluding
'me' is inside that I am searching everywhere.

Independence Day

On 15August we celebrate the independence day of our country. The country becomes independent when the people of the country are independent to think. That means being able to walk on a path of  their own chosen by their own wisdom. 

The human being is born independent.
It all depends on our strong desire that how fast we can achieve that independence again.

Independence is leadership. 
No rules to follow but to live with own wisdom. 
This is the way of the Buddha. 
Each one of us is capable of becoming Buddha. 
When the people of the country become Bodhisattva the boundaries of the country are dropped and true independence is revealed. 
Till then we can only say that we got ourselves free from one ruler but are still ruled by other. 

LIMITING THE LIMITLESS

It is really amazing to observe that the social world always tries in one way or the other to bind the being in certain limits whreas it is born without limits. The lifeforce (Pran-Shakti) within human body  is limitless.

We must understand this simple fact and all our efforts must be directed towards this objective of not  containing the human being in any boundary. Discipline is not for restricting but to keep one directed towards the objective. It is to keep our focus on the true objective so that we are not distracted which normally happens with us. Discipline should not be considered as a way of limiting the human boundary. The stress in our lives these days is a product of this limiting factor.

It is like when we try to stop the flowing water by making a dam on a river. The flowing water is making all efforts to reach the limitless ocean as early as possible. When we stop the flow the pressure increases and we harness that pressure by generating electrical power. Same is the case with the human being. By discipline we are creating the pressure which is used to increase the creativity in ourselves. But this pressure upto a level helps to increase productivity and creativity,  when it crosses the optimum level it breaks down all barriers and creates havoc as a dam crashes under excessive pressure of excess restricted water in its belly.

The limit that can help us in being more productive and creative is to be determined by the individual self and not the family or society. The individual is the best judge to define his or her limits which he can manage without disturbing the desire to reach the limitless. When the limits or the boundaries extend beyond this under pressure created by the family or society  giving the impression to the individual that he or she cannot reach his or her goal of  becoming one with the limitless it is the onset of nervous breakdown. It generates the frustration of the kind we can see in most of the people in today's society. This happens without the knowledge of the individual because he is ignorant of the ultimate goal of this life.

HENCE PLEASE ALOW THE LIMITLESS TO REACH THE UNLIMITED WITHOUT ANY HINDRANCE AND THUS HELP THE SOCIETY TO GAIN ITS VIBRANCE AND EXUBERANCE AGAIN. 

Experiences

Experience is that which teaches us something 

and gives us an understanding that helps in 

being more mature. That means the events

which touch us deep down to our soul and

give us an opportunity to improve our life

in whatever little way is the experience.

How to reach the mental state of experience ? 

Spirituality takes us to a state that allows

us to experience every moment in our life.

This state of experiencing every moment of 

our life helps us to mature. This attaining maturity is the true meaning of being spiritual.

When we become an observer to the moment by

moment happenings of our life the state

of realization is achieved. This is Buddhahood.

When we are aware of everything happening to

ourselves and the surrounding environment we

become bodhisattavas.

Eternal Search

Search For Rendezvous


Once again
I want to be
what I am eternally
but I cannot reach by efforts
for that is 'One'
and no individual 'I'
which is other than 'That'
can ever enter the 'kingdom'.

'I' is not pure consciousness
for only pure is allowed
to become one with 'That'
that is 'One'.

Once again
I want to be pure
for realising oneness with 'That'.
But how?
mere living with simplicity ?

No, Purity is not a physical thing.
Purity means
dropping of all desires,
not to interfere with nature,
not to have a fighting instinct,
not analysing everything in one's favour.

Purity means
knowing the fact as it is,
without pride and prejudice.

If we look closely
our knowing is through hopes & amp; desires,
through ego and for enhancing ego
how can we purify ourselves ?
Even a grain of desire
either mundane or spiritual
contaminates the purity.

When you are nature itself
how can you be against it ?
everything that is against nature
is not truth,that is false,
your false creation out of ignorance.

Once again
I want to be
what I am eternally
I am caught-up in
the false creation of ignorance,
my identification with body and mind
is so intense
that it stops me to realize
that I am beyond it
my roots are beyond it
but again that is not 'I'
it is pure consciousness that is 'One'.

Once again
I will be
what I am eternally
but then 'I' in me will dissipate.

i will not be the same
the pure consciousness
will take over the kingdom of 'I'.

In fact, i am
what i was eternally
but unaware of it.

Lost Spirit

LOST SPIRIT

Where is the spirit in man gone?
It seems man has substituted it
with the pseudo-knowledge
which has occupied a place
above the state of his being

Today man is mad for possessions
this madness of possession has possessed his spirit
he is bent upon accumulating
more knowledge, more materials
for what ?

He does not have time to think
this ostensibly foolish question.

Where is the spirit in man
which recognizes the greatness of a being ?
Perhaps it has been narrowed to
evaluate a being with his accumulations
of wealth, fame and degrees.

Where is the spirit in man
which is always benevolent ?
Has it transformed into
intimidating and making slaves
of his own brethren
through deadly nuclear arsenal ?

Where is the spirit in man
which is always free ?

The spirit in man is still there
but it has lost its freedom.
It seems computer is more than a master
for the weak spirit of man.

Peace of mind


Greetings to everyone on this Monday Morning!!

i read a nice story and would like to share.

Once Buddha was walking from one town to another town with a few of his followers. This was in the initial days. While they were traveling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, "I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake there."

The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought, "How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink!"

So he came back and told Buddha, "The water in there is very muddy. I don't think it is fit to drink." After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake.

This time too he found that the lake was muddy. He returned and informed Buddha about the same. After sometime, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back.

The disciple reached the lake to find the lake absolutely clean and clear with pure water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it looked fit to be had. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha.

Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said, See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be…. and the mud settled down on its own – and you got clear water.

Your mind is also like that! When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down. It will happen. It is effortless.

What did Buddha emphasize here? He said, "It is effortless." Having 'Peace of Mind' is not a strenuous job; it is an effortless process!

Love for Life

THE LOVE FOR LIFE

Why should the love for life
not entangle thee ?
Thee, whose existence is not
but life and life alone.

and you can't subdue
the fact of entanglement
for through this
alone thou exist.

and rather than to struggle
against the mighty current's flow
give up thy tryst
and with the winds
rhythmically blow

thus making up the recondite
and fusing in the bliss
let the ultimate become a light
in thy inwards flight.

i swear
God was here
just now
peering through our window
utterly amused
with brows raised

He peered
besmeared
with agony
over countenances pale
with values effete and stale
"Where". He gasped
"the bliss, that with soul
was clasped ?"
And woh! their institutions
estranged constitutions
through which they procreate frustrations
and then importune expiation'
